What’s Free in Paris This Month

Parent/Child Yoga WorkshopFree in Paris this month (November 5th): Free yoga workshop for parents and kids at Ternes location of the Fnac store. This event will take place in honor of the release of a book on how yoga and meditation can help children grow up happy.

2016 Stars Festival (November 5th-6th): Free documentary screening at the Forum des Images. Reservations recommended.

Free Exhibit: Belle Ville – Street Art (Through November 10th): Free exposition of urban art featuring the work of various prominent street artists.

50 Years of Rock & Folk (Through November 15th): Free photo exposition featuring the work of two Rock & Folk magazine photographers. Discover pictures of the biggest artists of the past 50 years.

Ben L’Oncle Soul Showcase (November 16th): French soul man Ben l’Oncle Soul is presenting his new album at the Fnac des Ternes.

Photo Exhibit: Rock Icons Onstage & Backstage (Through November 20th): Photographer Ben Rej’s work features some of the greatest rock icons on and off stage. Come discover exclusive photos from artists such as John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix and many more.

Free Photo Exhibit: Bashô – Divagation (Through November 20th): Free photo exhibit featuring the work of French photographer Klavdij Sluban. Get insight into his trip to Japan through a selection of black and white photographs.

Christmas Decorations in Paris (Starts November 21st): Enjoy Christmas lights around the city including on the Champs-Élysée, where there will be a Christmas market and an ice skating rink.

Jazz.Dk 2016 (November 24th-26th): Free jazz concerts on three different night at the Maison du Danemark!

Monte Le Son Festival (Through November 26th): Hip-hop music festival. Free concerts, workshops and screenings in various locations. See website for complete schedule.

CHU Teh-Chun Exhibit (Through November 30th): CHU Teh-Chun (ZHU Dequn) was the first Asian person to become a member of the famous Fine Arts Academy (Académie des beaux-arts) in France. This exhibit features pieces never before seen by the public.

Alimenterre Film Festival (Through November 30th): The Alimenterre Festival is presenting eight documentaries on the theme of ” Solutions to feed the world”.

  1. There will be an official event with Anne Hidalgo to celebrate the turning on of the Christmas lights on the Champs Elysées on November 21st.
